Darian’s father Bruce started the company in 1983, then known as Advertising Graphics, which Darian took over and renamed in 2007. Since then, he’s continually invested in the team’s growth and knowledge, growing and shaping the company’s expertise to service its clients.
Darian gets a lot of satisfaction from having staff who enjoy their work. He’s a manager that doesn’t need to be front and centre and encourages every team member to lead, gain experience, and deliver high‑quality work.
Darian manages accounts and projects as well as provides creative direction. He thrives on being busy and finding innovative solutions to ensure every project is completed on time and goes above and beyond the client’s expectations.
He’s created a trusted, reliable and close-knit team making The Kiln a highly sought-after design agency and place to work.

Josh is our expert UI Graphic Designer with a Bachelor of Visual Communication and over 11 years of design and digital experience.
A talented visual artist, Josh is our problem solver, putting out design fires with creative ideas using his Adobe Creative Suite, Axure and Figma skills.
He’s a master at creating scope documents that ensure accurate time and cost allocations. And his analytical mind is essential when testing across all platforms and devices before deployment.

Jimmy Emmett
Senior Designer
With nine years of design experience, Jimmy brings a fresh perspective to design, complemented by his technical abilities across Adobe Creative Suite.
Jimmy has an exceptional designer’s eye. He can analyse a challenging brief or data and thoughtfully design an outcome that meets the brief, whether typographic, branding or infographic.
He’s also proficient in various digital platforms designed to facilitate social media campaigns and create assets. Jimmy credits the collaborative team and their complementary skills for creating great work.
Suzanne Karagiannis
Senior Designer
Our Senior Designer Suzanne has over seven years of design and digital experience and holds Honours in Bachelor of Visual Communication.
As well as proficiency across the Adobe Creative Suite, Suzanne’s strength is in her styling and typography. Suzanne has worked extensively on street press and print publications, including Rip It Up, Attitude and Hot 100 Wines.
With day-to-day work varying from print to digital, Suzanne loves the challenge of continually learning new skills to deliver bold, creative and considerate design.
